Creating From Intuition
From Random Lines to Expressive Art
- Doodling from Imagination is a creative art program that encourages children to create freely, without starting with a fixed idea or expected outcome.
- Each artwork begins with simple, spontaneous lines and shapes. Children are encouraged to draw intuitively, allowing patterns, characters, faces, landscapes and abstract forms to gradually emerge from what they have created.
- Rather than copying an image or following a step-by-step drawing, children learn to observe, imagine and respond to their own marks. They then develop their drawings using patterns, textures and colour, choosing colours based on what feels right to them in the moment.
- The process encourages children to trust their imagination and discover that an artwork does not always need to be planned ,sometimes the most interesting ideas appear while we are not planning .
What children will explore

What Children Experience

Program Format
- Sessions typically run 60–75 minutes
- Term-based program
- Throughout the term, children explore intuitive doodling, beginning with spontaneous lines and shapes and allowing patterns, forms, and imaginative images to naturally emerge. They develop their creations through colour, texture, and personal expression.
Registration
- Parents can register their child by completing the online registration form below.
- Places are limited to maintain small group sizes and a calm, supportive environment.
- Once registered, parents will receive confirmation and further details about session times.
